Cougar Club Hockey
Cougar Club Hockey is a proud member of the Colorado Prep Hockey League, CPHL. We currently ice two teams, Tier 1 Varsity that plays an U18AA schedule & Tier 2 Junior Varsity that plays a U16A competitive schedule. The Cougar Club Hockey season begins on August 15, 2026 for the 1st day of tryouts and concludes the 3rd week in March 2027 with playoffs.
The 2026-27 season will begin with tryouts on Saturday, August 15th at the Ice Haus. Full tryout schedule listed below.

- Session 1 - 1:45pm - 3:15pm
- Session 2 - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
- Tryout Day 2 - Sunday, August 16th - Ice Haus
- 10:45am - 11:45am
- Tryout Day 3 - Monday, August 17th - RCS Weight Room
- 6:00pm - 7:30pm - Varsity standard testing
- Tryout Day 4 - Tuesday, August 18th - Ice Haus

Eligibility
Athletes going into 9th grade in 2026 through 12th grade.
*Graduated players with a year of USA Hockey eligibility are not permitted to play as they have already graduated high school. Only high school attending players are permitted to play.

RCS Hockey utilizes two ice rinks in Northern Colorado for its games and practices, as well as Resurrection Christian School's athletic facilities.

Costs
- Tier 1 Varsity
- Club Season: $3,500
- CHSAA Season: $2,500
- Tier 2 JV
- Club Season: $3,000
- CHSAA Season: $2,000
This cost includes all tournaments, travel and team events, as well as over $1,000/per player gear package.
Club season payment plans are available and can be setup for once a month payments from August through March.

Player physicals are NOT required for CHPL but if your athlete needs a physical for a fall sport, RCS will need this form for CHSAA season.
