CPHL
RCS Hockey is a member of the Colorado Prep Hockey League. We have two teams that compete in this league, Tier 1 Varsity team and Tier 2 Junior Varsity team. Levels are not determined by age but by skill-level. For more information on the CPHL you can visit their website here, cphlhome.com
The 2025-26 season will begin with tryouts on Saturday, August 2nd at the Ice Haus. Full tryout schedule listed below.
- Tryout Day 1 - Saturday, August 2nd
- Session 1 - 1:45pm - 3:15pm
- Session 2 - 3:30pm - 5:00pm
- Tryout Day 2 - Monday, August 4th
- Session 1 - 5:30pm-6:30pm
- Tryout Day 3 - Tuesday, August 5th
- Session 1 - 5:30pm-6:30pm
Ages
Athletes going into 9th grade in 2025 through 12th grade.
*Graduated players with a year of USA Hockey eligibility are not permitted to play as they have already graduated high school. Only high school attending players are permitted in the CPHL league.

Where
RCS Hockey utilizes two ice rinks in Northern Colorado for its games and practices, as well as Resurrection Christian School's athletic facilities.

Tier 1 Varsity
- Mondays - 6:00am-7:30am - Ice Haus
- Tuesdays - 8:30pm-10pm - NoCo
- Wednesdays - Off Day
- Thursdays - 6:00am-7:30am - Ice Haus
Tier 2 JV
- Mondays - 9:00pm-10:00pm - Ice Haus
- Tuesdays - 7:30pm-8:30pm - Ice Haus
- Wednesdays - Off Day
- Thursdays - 8:45pm-10pm - NoCo
Games
How many games will they play? What days of the week?
Example: Teams will play 20-30 games over the course of the season and will usually fall on the weekends.
Costs
Tier 1 Varsity & Tier 2 JV costs will be the same as both teams will receive equal accommodations.
- Per Player CPHL Cost: $2,750
This cost includes all tournaments and team bonding events, as well as over $1,000/per player gear package.
Player physicals are NOT required for CHPL but if your athlete needs a physical for a fall sport, RCS will need this form for CHSAA season.
